covers an area of just under 40 hectares and is in a prime location, 1
km from the motorway (Völkermarkt-Ost junction), providing a direct link

Völkermarkt Industry Park also incorporates the GIG (Gründer-,

ARNOLDSTEIN INNOVATION CENTRE is the first location in Carinthia to have an extensive state-of-the-art fibre-optic cable network for exceptionally fast data transmission. There are also plans to create a “Zukunftslabor” (“Future Lab”) at the innovation centre, where Carinthian software companies can test applications with large volumes of data. As a result, the spatial infrastructure is also being redesigned for regional IT development projects. The centre’s main goal is the initiation and implementation of broadband-based CAS (content, applications, services) projects involving high-definition video services, X-ray applications for medicine, E-government, etc. The Arnoldstein Regional Innovation Centre is housed in two office blocks with the latest equipment. It boasts just under 4,000 m² of office and workshop space and two industrial production halls |
